3D-Guided Dentistry
摘要
Three-dimensional (3D)-guided dentistry is changing the field by using advanced images and computer technology for design and manufacturing. It improves accuracy, efficiency, and patient results by using 3D imaging methods, like cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), along with virtual planning and digital records to help with precise dental procedures (Beuer et al. 2008). 3D-guided dentistry focuses on making a precise virtual model of a patient’s mouth. This computer model is important for diagnosing diseases, planning treatments, and performing surgeries with less harm. Three-dimensional (3D)-guided dentistry is used in many areas of dental care like implants, braces, root canal treatment, and dentures, showing how flexible it is in modern dental practices (Da Silva et al. 2022).
