Rising levels of greenhouse gases (GHGs) are concern for our planet. The study utilizes Sentinel-5P satellite data for 2019 to 2023 including the COVID-19 lockdown periods, to assess the impact of the lockdown on NO₂ and CO levels in 2020 and 2021 in Nagpur City. The analysis demonstrates. The five-year spatial pattern of these two primary anthropogenic greenhouse gases, the regional signatures of urban emissions is attempted. The results revealed well-defined spatial patterns portraying the activity during this period. Implications of this study underscore the importance of satellite monitoring for understanding and mitigating greenhouse gas emissions from urban areas.

摘要
