Navigating Long COVID: Comorbidities and the Global Societal Impact
摘要
This review examines the complex interplay between the COVID-19 pandemic, its associated comorbidities, and the broad socio-economic repercussions, with a particular emphasis on the psychological impacts on individuals and society. COVID-19 comorbidities are highlighted as a central theme, exploring the interwoven health challenges and their profound socio-psychological effects. This review seeks to shed light on the far-reaching consequences of the pandemic, encompassing mental health strains, economic disruptions, and societal shifts. Recognizing that many social impacts cannot be alleviated by therapeutic interventions alone, this work offers a comprehensive analysis of the multi-layered crises brought about by COVID-19, providing valuable insights into the broader implications for both mental health and societal resilience.
