The convergence of artificial intelligence (AI) with automotive technology marks a pivotal development in the ongoing transformation of the transportation sector. AI is increasingly central to the design and functionality of intelligent vehicles, with applications ranging from autonomous driving to advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication. This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the integration of AI technologies into vehicular systems, presenting a novel conceptual framework that integrates deep learning, real-time data processing, and AI-driven decision-making to improve safety, operational efficiency, and user experience. Furthermore, we critically evaluate the technical, regulatory, and societal challenges posed by the proliferation of AI in vehicles, alongside future directions in intelligent transportation systems.
