Multi-vehicle Cooperative Charging Strategy for WSN Based on Charging Characteristics

In today’s information age, Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has become a key way to collect information, which has been widely concerned by researchers. The continuous operation ability of wireless sensor networks is often limited by the battery capacity of its sensor nodes, which has become a key problem to be solved urgently. To overcome this challenge, many strategies have been developed, such as Equal Share, Solely Charge and CL-Charge algorithms. The core goal of these algorithms is to extend the network lifetime by reducing the energy consumption of mobile Charging units MCs. However, in the pursuit of energy minimization, existing methods often neglect the efficient use of energy and the need to ensure nodes can be charged in a timely manner. Therefore, this paper first uses a Charging Scheme Based on Charging Curve Characteristics (CS-Charge) to reduce the charging time in the constant voltage charging mode in the network, so that charge the subsequent nodes. Then, based on the OCAM algorithm and the FLQL algorithm, the charging curve characteristics are fully considered. A distributed online cooperative charging algorithm based on charging characteristics (DOCCA) is proposed. The simulation results show that compared with the existing algorithms, CS-Charge and DOCCA have excellent performance in terms of energy efficiency.
