With the rapid development of information technology and the Internet of Things, the application of smart construction in different fields is receiving increasing attention. This paper studies the current application status and problems of smart construction in power plants, aiming to explore how to fully utilize advanced technology to optimize power plant construction management, improve production efficiency and safety. The paper first outlines the background of smart construction and the field of power plants, then provides a detailed introduction to the current application status of smart construction in power plant construction and analyzes the existing problems and challenges. Finally, some suggestions for improvement and development were proposed to promote the wider application of smart construction in the field of power plants.
