Based on the background of today’s digital and intelligent technology, taking the construction of three-dimensional digital model of outdoor engineering, the application of results and the benefit of results implementation as the research object, the research on the establishment, application and technical requirements of three-dimensional digital model of outdoor engineering is carried out. On the other hand, the application of three-dimensional digital results of outdoor engineering in the fine management of construction site and the integration management of design and construction is analyzed, and the necessity of three-dimensional digital design of outdoor engineering is put forward. On this basis, a new prospect is put forward for the future 3D digital design of outdoor engineering in the construction of 3D design platform of outdoor engineering and the matching research of UAV real scene model and design model.
