We humans constantly observe diverse information from our surroundings. Based on the environmental information accumulated from these experiences, we construct models of the world in our brains. Here, mode” refers to a simplified, abstracted representation of objects and phenomena in the target world. Using such a model makes it possible to infer an internal representation of the environment from incomplete observations or to predict (simulate) future changes in the environment based on observations at a given moment. These models have recently come to be called world models.

摘要

We humans constantly observe diverse information from our surroundings. Based on the environmental information accumulated from these experiences, we construct models of the world in our brains. Here, mode” refers to a simplified, abstracted representation of objects and phenomena in the target world. Using such a model makes it possible to infer an internal representation of the environment from incomplete observations or to predict (simulate) future changes in the environment based on observations at a given moment. These models have recently come to be called world models.
