The repair of meniscus injuries consistently presents a considerable challenge, particularly in the relatively avascular regions. Multiple techniques to enhance the mending were developed, although only a limited number yielded persuasive outcomes. Fibrin clot augmentation is a promising augmentation method in this context. The primary obstacle is the challenge of administering treatment to the meniscus tear during continuous irrigation in arthroscopic procedures. This paper outlines a clear and unique technique for the production and transfer of a clump of fibrin into a meniscal break provided in a sequential fashion.

摘要

The repair of meniscus injuries consistently presents a considerable challenge, particularly in the relatively avascular regions. Multiple techniques to enhance the mending were developed, although only a limited number yielded persuasive outcomes. Fibrin clot augmentation is a promising augmentation method in this context. The primary obstacle is the challenge of administering treatment to the meniscus tear during continuous irrigation in arthroscopic procedures. This paper outlines a clear and unique technique for the production and transfer of a clump of fibrin into a meniscal break provided in a sequential fashion.
