Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tibial avulsion is a common injury. Displaced ACL tibial avulsion injuries require operative treatment for better outcomes. Various surgical techniques are mentioned ranging from open to arthroscopic procedures. Most of the techniques involve multiple large diameter tunnels, costly implants and sophisticated instrumentation. Our technique is simple, uses two small diameter tunnels, does not require special instruments, and gives very broad and stable fixation to the avulsed fragment. Stable fixation allows early knee mobilization and early return to sports activities. Our technique is easy, effective and cost-efficient.
