Pranayama

Sheetali Pranayama is also known as cooling breath. As it is made up of a Sanskrit word that means ‘sheet’, which refers to cooling, this practice gives a cooling effect. According to Hatha Yoga Pradipika [1], the main purpose of Sheetali is to treat an enlarged stomach or spleen, as well as fever, excess bile, hunger, thirst, and the removal of toxins.
