Following the 18th CPC National Congress, socialism with Chinese characteristics entered a new era. The main task for the Party and the country is to achieve the First Centenary Goal, start a new journey to achieve the Second Centenary Goal, and continue to move forward towards the grand goal of national rejuvenation. The Party Central Committee, with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core, holds high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, adheres to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and fully implements the Party’s basic guidelines and policies. Implementing the national rejuvenation strategy within a wider context of the unprecedented changes taking place in the world, the Party Central Committee has advanced the Five-sphere Integrated Plan and the Four-Pronged Comprehensive Strategy, adopted a number of strategic measures, and developed a range of transformative practices. These ongoing efforts have led to new breakthroughs, landmark accomplishments, the resolution of long-standing issues, achievements of lasting significance, and the mitigation of risks and challenges in political, economic, ideological, and natural domains. The Party and the state have made historic achievements and undergone historic transformations, propelling China onto a new journey of building a modern socialist country in all respects.
