The pandemic time in 2019 had a major impact on socioeconomic and health structure and also played a vital role in the adoption of digital technologies worldwide. Research and innovation in the area of digital technology in healthcare has seen a significant growth in the COVID-19 era which provides marvelous support to the healthcare services. Due to global lockdowns and restricted social mobility, mitigating the burden of disease became a significant challenge. The rise of digital technologies (tele-health, e-prescription, telemedicine, remote patient monitoring, and artificial intelligence) in the COVID-19 time helps to suppress the viral dissemination, identification, predictions, treatment development, reduce mortality rate, providing virtual patient care and improve the quality of life and enhance efficiency and ensure safety for both patients and healthcare personnel.
