This study presents the dimensioning of a photovoltaic (PV) installation (equipment) intended to supply a cold room located at the Adrar site (southern Algeria). This cold room is proposed for storing agricultural products (positive cold room). According to the tests we carried out over two successive days (month of July), the cold room consumed 8129.16 Wh. On the first day, the cold room consumed 4702.91 Wh and on the second day, its consumption was 3426.25 Wh. We have sized all the components of the PV installation according to the energy consumption of the first day of the cold room. The sizing results indicate that to ensure a stable supply of electrical energy to the cold room, it is necessary to install a PV generator providing a peak electrical power equal to 1500 Wp, and a battery bank composed of ten batteries (12 V/200 Ah) with an autonomy of two days. The PV generator comprises six modules each delivering electrical power equal to 250 Wp.
