Enhancing Renewable Energy Systems with PD(1 + PI) and Predictive Direct Power Control Techniques
摘要
This research paper presents an innovative approach to enhancing energy output from the electrical grid by combining the PD (1 + PI) regulator with Predictive Direct Power Control (P-DPC) to estimate the reference value of the grid’s active power. The PD(1 + PI) is designed to enhance the system’s transient response by combining proportional-derivative (PD) control with a proportional-integral (PI) controller, thereby enhancing the overall control performance. The P-DPC predicts future power system states and adjusts control actions to optimize active power, with its effectiveness evaluated through comparison with traditional DPC methods. The comparative study demonstrates significant improvements in performance metrics such as response time, power stability, and energy efficiency. The results highlight the potential of the combined PD(1 + PI) and P-DPC controller to outperform traditional DPC methods, confirming the superiority of this method for grid applications.
