Robotic disassembly is an essential step to realize automation of recycling end-of-life products compared with manual disassembly. The energy consumption of industrial robot during robotic disassembly process could be further optimized to enhance the sustainability. In this paper, the framework of energy consumption optimization method for robotic disassembly process using Bees algorithm is proposed. Afterwards, the Bees algorithm with memory strategy is utilized to solve the proposed problem. Finally, the performance of proposed optimization algorithm is verified by cases studies considering the scenarios under different parameters, different loads and performance improvement. The proposed Bees algorithm with memory strategy could be used to solve the proposed problem with considerable running time.
