Human fascination with space has been an enduring aspect of our curiosity. The recent surge in interest towards space tourism has spurred a corresponding increase in scholarly endeavors to comprehend this burgeoning domain. At the heart of understanding space tourism lies the imperative to explore its demand; after all, the existence of a viable market hinges upon the presence of demand. Consequently, unraveling the precise variables that underpin the demand for space tourism assumes critical significance. In response to this pivotal inquiry, the present study employs a meta-analytic approach to investigate existing research on space tourism, culminating in the synthesis of nine pertinent micro and macro variables. These variables are carefully delineated and subjected to meticulous analysis, affording comprehensive insights into their respective roles and interrelationships within the context of space tourism demand. By delving into these variables, this study seeks to furnish scholars and researchers in the field with a foundational framework, thereby fostering a springboard for more intricate and nuanced investigations into the realm of space tourism. By shedding light on these fundamental variables, it is anticipated that this study will not only enrich the current understanding of space tourism demand but also engender a wealth of potential avenues for future in-depth research. Ultimately, this endeavor aspires to serve as a catalyst, inspiring and guiding subsequent scholarly pursuits aimed at unraveling the multifaceted dynamics that underlie the demand for space tourism.
