A serious problem in Japan is the damage to aged bridges constructed during the High Economic Growth Period. There are so many bridges spanning 5–25 m to renewal because of their aging under small to medium districts that have financial difficulties. Then, Asahi Engineering developed “Easy Rahmen Bridge (ERB)” (Rigid Frame Bridge) which used H-shaped Steel to reduce its construction and maintenance costs. The Rigid Frame Bridge Integrated Superstructure and Substructure do not require the Bearings and Expansion Joints to reduce their construction and maintenance costs. Then, it would bring many efficiencies also in Vietnam to mobilize “ERB.” This report introduces its structural concept and features of “ERB” and achievement in Japan. Also, Earthquake Resistance of “ERB” under the Noto Peninsula Earthquake happened on 1st January 2024 in Japan is introduced.
