This article represents a flexible microstrip patch antenna designed on a PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) substrate. The dielectric constant of the substrate is 2.1. The dimension of proposed design is 68 × 40 mm2 with the thickness of dielectric substrate is 1.465 mm, thickness of ground being 0.035 mm, and patch 0.035 mm, respectively. In this design, an inverted L shape is created to bring down the working resonance frequency from 2.47 GHz to 2.45 GHz. The bending analysis of the antenna simulated on human phantom arm at various angle. The antenna is resonant at 2.45Ghz in normal state and resonant at 2.43 GHz during its bent state with a dip of − 35 db for ISMs band applications. The phantom model is containing skin, fats, and muscles.

摘要
