Imperatives for Organizational Leadership: Creativity and Innovation

This chapter highlights the importance of prioritizing creativity and innovation for organizational survival and growth. Managing the complex balance between these elements is challenging but possible by understanding creativity's mysteries and embracing eight key leadership roles. These are - leaders need to shift fluidly between the spotlight and operating behind-the-scenes, standing at the wings, or observing from the audience seat to achieve organizational goals. While current leaders have overcome many obstacles, future leaders from Generation Z and Alpha will need to transcend traditional norms and engage in greater innovation. It is argued that adaptability and creative thinking are essential for navigating the evolving organizational landscape.
