Human beings are biosocial beings and represent the highest level of development of all living organisms on Earth. Survival and inquisitiveness have been the most fundamental in humans. In our quest for survival, and overcoming the constraints of time and space, we have come so far that we face a world today that is far different from our ancestors’ world. The world is at an inflection point bringing many societies to a point of crisis including opportunities and possibilities for co-existence. We are experiencing alarming challenges in societies as evidenced by various everyday local, national, and global happenings around us such as war, violence, mental health issues, unethical practices, compromising on quality and morality for individualistic gains and benefits, etc. However, as humans, we have the potential to identify and understand the interlude, the ability and potential to solve our problems, and the consciousness to change to ensure the future for ourselves and our planet. Education is a strong tool for transforming the world and the present crisis calls for an educational transformation. It is pertinent to reimagining and transform the existing education system; the way we learn, what we learn, and how we learn. The chapter underscores some of the key elements for future directions for an inclusive, equitable, and sustainable future. The aim is to prompt the thought processes for interactions and discourses beyond the boundaries of culture or countries to address some of the most pressing global challenges we are facing in the interconnected world.
