The primary factors of inclusion for a particular community depends on the few fundamentals of initiation, aspiration, and innovation. Similarly, the inclusion of music community has been going through transformation that creates the new possibilities in the horizon of world music. Indian music has eternally aimed at inclusion as it has been persuaded by diverse cultural influences through the ages. Indian music embraces a distinctive signification in global music scenario for the unique feature of the application of intermediate notes. This paper endeavors to the exclusive attribute of Indian music especially how Thumri can be pertained in the mainstream film music with the special reference to the theory of touch notes.
