Research on Machining and Control System of Non-circular Curve Parts in Rotary Milling Wood Machine

In view of the problem that the traditional machining technology and machining equipment can not quickly and effectively complete the machining of arc and V-shaped non-circular curved parts, a rotary milling technology scheme was proposed through the analysis of the shape characteristics of the parts and the motion control system of rotary milling wood machine was designed. The feed transmission gear, the radius of the rotary milling tool and the height of the press wheel are controlled by the servo motor. The working principle of the rotary milling wood machine and the processes involved are introduced. Finally, in the experiment to select pine as processing raw materials, we set the appropriate processing parameters. Then, we conducted an experimental analysis of the rotary milling cutter radius change and pressure wheel lifting height. The results show that the rotary milling wood machine can meet the processing needs for arc and V-shaped non-circular curved parts.
