As the main raw material of mould plaster for medium pressure casting, the properties of gypsum plaster powder for casting are important factors affecting the quality of plaster mould. In this paper, the corrosion rate is firstly taken as the main index to characterize the durability of medium-pressure gypsum mould powder. And the experiment conditions are also discussed detailly. The results indicate the drop height and the water consumption are the two important factors in the determination process of corrosion experiments. And, the corrosion rate of the medium pressure casting mould gypsum plaster should not be greater than 5.0% which can be accepted by the product users.

摘要
