Solution plasma processes (SPPs) have possibility to be applied to various fascinating applications, especially to the synthesis of nanomaterials. These studies have been conducted with small laboratory-level experimental equipment. In such equipment, plasma is generated in the gap (approx. 1 mm) between a pair of electrodes (diam. approx. 1 mm). The size of plasma is hence mm scale. This size of plasma is quite smaller than the volume of the liquid to be treated even if we liquid is as small as a few 10 mL. In the case of industrial application, the volume of liquid to be treated can be few 10 L a day. Thus, if you apply SPPs to an industrial application, you must develop a suitable reactor for processing large amounts of liquid. This chapter describes several efforts toward industrial SPPs.

摘要
