The thriving period of tomb murals spans a long time and has a very different background from before. Not only did the central government confront the ethnic minorities for a long period, but also the Yuan Dynasty finally conquered the world, and the ethnic minority regime established a unified empire in the Central Plains. However, even in the turbulent change of regime, the development of Central Plains culture is still the mainstream, and the tomb murals in this period still made a great contribution to the development of tomb murals in China. From this point, we discuss the influence of the strengthening of imperial power in the Tang Dynasty and the civilian characteristics formed in the Song Dynasty.
