Simon Sinek’s Golden Circle is a leadership and marketing model that can be applied in various contexts. At the core of his model is the guiding question of why, followed by how, and then what. Using this framework, this chapter explores three key questions: Why was this book written? How is the book organised? and What does the book aim to achieve? To provide context, the chapter also offers a brief background on Papua New Guinea, its education system, and the importance of teachers’ professional development. Australia’s role in enhancing the educational opportunities of PNG citizens is also discussed, with reference to the country’s Schools of Excellence Policy, enacted in 2020, which emphasises STEM education as a key priority.

摘要
