The growing popularity of electronic sports, or e-sports, emphasizes the necessity of looking into the variables influencing player performance. This study investigates how e-sports players’ accuracy and reaction times are affected by hand–eye coordination training. This study is to evaluate if the training may improve hand–eye coordination, which is essential for playing video games. Twenty participants were randomly assigned to two groups; the experimental group (HEC) (n = 10), which received training in hand–eye coordination techniques such wall ball bounce, ball dribbling, and ball juggling, and the control group (C) (n = 10), which received no training. Before and after the training, AimLab was used to evaluate the accuracy and reaction time of both groups. According to the results, participants who participated in the hand–eye coordination training had significant improvements in their reaction times when compared to the control group. However, there was no noticeable rise in accuracy as a result of the training. The experimental and control groups’ reaction times differed significantly (p < 0.05), according to an independent t-test. According to the study’s findings, hand–eye coordination training improves reaction time but has no noticeable impact on e-sport accuracy.

摘要
