The Use of Technology Integration Software to Enhance Level of Movement Skills Based on Simpson’s Psychomotor Domain
摘要
With the rapid advancement of the increasingly technological world, educators are rightly encouraged to use technology in teaching, such as the use of multimedia. The advantages of multimedia are not only as facilitators but also as substitutes or supporters of the learning process being conducted. The field of sports is no exception, as the use of technology allows skills, techniques, and tactics to be clearly conveyed. The main purpose of this study is to observe the level of skill movement mastery based on Simpson’s Psychomotor Domain Taxonomy and how software aids in the mastery of sports skills. The evaluation of the effectiveness of this software involves several instruments, such as observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the analysis recorded the mean and standard deviation readings for observation findings as 4.61 ± 0.27 and for questionnaires as 4.52 ± 0.04, indicating that students’ skill levels were at the third level, which is the guided response level, according to Simpson’s psychomotor domain after using the software. Overall, the findings on how the software helps in mastering skill movements show a positive impact on the student learning process. In conclusion, the provided software has a positive effect on the level of mastery of students’ skill movements.
