This chapter concludes and discusses Artificial Intelligence’s (AI) transformative impact on architectural research, practice, and pedagogy. In research, AI enhances historical reconstruction with multi-sensory soundscapes, pioneers material innovation through machine learning, fosters co-creation in design workflows, redefines authorship via blockchain-supported frameworks, and fuels speculative aesthetics inspired by cyberpunk. In practice, AI optimises pre-design planning, embeds sustainability, extends cognition as a co-creator, and accelerates ideation at firms like Heatherwick Studio. In pedagogy, AI introduces conversational design frameworks, leverages imagery for reasoning, refines outputs through linguistic precision, cultivates AI-native aesthetics, and shifts designers to curator-creators. Across these domains, AI acts as a collaborative partner, enhancing creativity, sustainability, and interaction while posing challenges like scalability and ethical integration. This synergy of human ingenuity and algorithmic power redefines architecture’s boundaries, fostering innovative, responsive, and visionary design processes.
