It discusses the lightweight neural network design principles and acceleration methods, which can benefit the hardware and software implementations of point cloud coding and processing methods. With the growing demand for high-quality 3D content in applications of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and autonomous driving, the need for efficient point cloud delivery has become increasingly critical. This chapter presents key strategies aiming to optimize bandwidth usage, reduce transmission latency, and maintain high reconstruction quality. In addition, point cloud rendering methods are introduced, including traditional and learning-based methods, which are important for high-quality display of point clouds. This chapter introduces the latest research methods on implementation, streaming and rendering, demonstrating how these innovations are applied to overcome practical limitations and enhance real-world performance in diverse applications.
