The results of studies of corrosion, thermal-fatigue, fatigue and erosion damage of working and guide vanes of turbines and compressors of peak GTUs (mainly at GT 100 LMZ), marine GTUs (SPb Mashproekt and Proletarsky Zavod), stationary GTUs (manufactured by NZL, UTMZ and General Electric) and some aircraft GTUs during benchmark tests and during long term operation are discussed below.
