Leveraging AI for Interactive 3D Visualizations and Immersive Simulations of Sustainable Practices in Urban Planning
摘要
As urbanization accelerates, sustainable city planning faces increasing complexity. This paper investigates the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), animation, and immersive technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) in enhancing sustainable urban design. AI-driven tools, using data from Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, support real-time modeling and scenario testing of sustainable strategies, such as green space optimization, smart infrastructure, and energy-efficient architecture. Animated visualization aids in communicating urban changes over time, while AR/VR provides immersive environments for stakeholder engagement and collaborative decision-making. The study explores real-world examples where these technologies improve planning processes, stakeholder understanding, and forecasting of long-term outcomes. It also addresses challenges such as algorithmic bias, data privacy, and technology access. In conclusion, AI-powered visualizations, enriched with animation and immersive media, present a transformative approach to sustainable, inclusive, and participatory urban planning.
