A Bibliometric Analysis on Green Finance for Sustainability
摘要
Regulators and the government are paying more attention to climate change and global warming problems and putting pressure on companies to adopt green innovation (GI) and green finance (GF). The importance of GI increased as traditional methods and technologies was not able to achieve sustainable goals. GI promotes sustainability through the adoption of new technology. GF allocates funds for green projects and for goods and services that are environment-friendly. Sustainable development can be achieved if more financing is done for sustainable projects and the development of new and advanced technology like artificial intelligence and blockchain. GI and GF can support the organizations to design products that will reduce wastage and environmental impact while preserving economic feasibility. This paper thoroughly explains how GI and GF are important for sustainable development. Data are taken from an academic database, i.e., SCOPUS, and VOSviewer software is used for network analysis. We have taken the leading, impactful authors and the articles that are cited most in the area of GI and GF. Also, leading, and impactful Co-Authorship analysis, major Co-citations of the author’s analysis, and important Co-occurrence of authors’ keywords analysis have been taken for the network analysis. The result of this study will be helpful for the government, researchers, entrepreneurs, and investors to understand how the use of GI and GF will be helpful for sustainable development. A collaboration between academia, industries, and government is required to achieve sustainable development. The research will influence budding green research to generate value for corporations and the sustainable development of society at large.
