Guizhou is located in the poverty-stricken contiguous mountainous areas in the hinterland of Yunnan-Guizhou-Guangxi stony desertification, where it is difficult for the farmers to get out of poverty through individual production by themselves, let alone getting rich, due to the harsh natural conditions. One household after another household suffered a lot from long-term poverty and diseases. Before organizing them to form a collective economic accumulation and eventually to “make blood” by themselves, the state and society need to input a large amount of resources to help them get rid of their individual hardships at first and then seek collective common prosperity. This process is destined to be difficult, but it is a necessary path for the Republic to forge ahead and “leave no one behind”.
