This chapter covers dimensional accuracy in terms of full length, grip section width, thickness, circularity and cylindricity, as well as surface quality with respect to surface roughness and surface waviness for PolyFlex™ PU95 dog-bone samples according to ASTM D638 (Type V) standard. Optimal material fabrication of those material samples was achieved with the aid of an Axiom 20 3D printer using a built-in slicer software APEX 1.7.4 in order to fulfil the conversion from a 3D computer-aided design (CAD) model format based on standard triangle language (STL) to G-code prior to 3D printing processes.
