Autoimmune connective tissue diseases (AICTDs) are a heterogeneous group of systemic disorders and usually require in-depth investigations. While some investigations are mandatory at baseline to know the extent of involvement, others are done later to further confirm the disease burden. The significance and implications of various haematological, histopathological and radiological investigations are highlighted in this chapter.
