Chaos-Based Image Compression and Encryption Using Chaotic Image for Secure Data Transmission
摘要
Effective management of medical images is essential in healthcare, balancing high-quality diagnostics, compression, and security. This study presents a two-step approach to address the challenges of secure and reliable medical image handling. First, JPEG 2000 compression is applied to reduce storage requirements while retaining diagnostic quality. Next, a chaotic neural network combined with hyperchaos encryption is introduced to enhance data security. The chaotic neural network’s nonlinear transformations introduce unpredictability, strengthening encryption against potential threats. This approach addresses the dual requirements of storage optimization and robust security, aligning with the increasing demand for secure and reliable medical image management in healthcare.
