Analyzing the Impact of Serious Game “Agent Zero” in Raising Awareness and Motivation to Learn on Global Warming and Waste Management
摘要
Human life faces negative impacts from environmental disruptions caused by excessive greenhouse gas emissions which drive global temperature increases toward extreme climate changes. Public awareness along with active participation stands necessary to resolve these problems. This research evaluates Agent Zero which functions as a serious game to teach users about global warming together with waste management and disaster mitigation through hands-on interactive gameplay. The study uses pre- and post-game awareness test results to determine how Agent Zero affects player environmental comprehension while advancing their sustainability knowledge. Research investigates participant responses leading into gameplay as well as their responses afterward to analyze changes in motivation toward learning and environmental perception. Agent Zero demonstrates effective educational communication capabilities by delivering information more interactively than conventional teaching approaches. Through its engaging gameplay the game shows environmental challenges to players while developing critical thinking capabilities which proves to be an essential instrument for greater environmental consciousness. The study demonstrates that serious games show promise as a new educational method for environmental instruction since they effectively connect information to behavioral alterations. Future scientific investigations should examine how well players retain their gained knowledge as well as the complete effects that serious games have on promoting sustainable behaviors.
