Recent advancements in blockchain technology have provided new opportunities to enhance DSM by enabling decentralized and transparent energy management. This paper proposes a novel blockchain-based DSM approach, which leverages smart contracts to automate real-time load adjustments, energy pricing, and peer-to-peer (P2P) energy trading. The proposed methodology is evaluated through simulations, demonstrating its effectiveness in reducing peak demand and improving energy utilization in a decentralized system.
