Large volumes of obsolete electrical and electronic equipment are ending up in landfills as a result of the growing need for smarter EEE on a worldwide scale. The unsustainable methods utilized for the collecting, processing, and disposal of EEE, or e-waste, have resulted in serious risks to the environment and the health of living things. The organizations lack the infrastructure, equipment, and knowledge necessary to collect and handle the growing amount of e-waste in an ecologically responsible way. This book chapter aims to highlight best practices in the management of e-waste and the significance of implementing policies, meeting technological needs, and raising societal awareness to create a sustainable and circular economy. E-waste recycling has become a worldwide issue that has to be resolved. Electronic garbage must be disassembled, sorted, and recycled in safe, high-standard facilities. Recycling is preferable to clumsily breaking useful parts down.
