The riser is an important structure connecting the oil production platform and the submarine pipeline. The riser is usually protected by the guard structure, and a narrow annular space is formed between the riser and the guard pipe. The existence of the narrow space increases the corrosion between the riser wall and the guard wall. In view of this kind of annular corrosion, the polymer material filling is an effective method. This paper has completed the testing of the filling material properties, the design and development of the cleaning device and the design and development of the plugging device. The land pilot test was completed by building a land simulator. Finally, the water pressure bursting test and temperature difference test are carried out on the sample tube. The test results show that the annular filling repair process can enhance the strength of riser structure and eliminate the corrosion of metal surface in annular space fundamentally. Finally, it is suggested to apply the technology in offshore engineering, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and improve the reliability of sea pipe with new technology.
