摘要
The present chapter, which is of reference nature, presents in concise terms and without any proof the relatively general knowledge of the basic concepts of game theory and queueing theory. Game theory has been viewed as a framework on the construction of rigorous models that deal with situation of conflict and cooperation between rational decision makers. It also shed light on other disciplines, such as social and economic networks, evolutionary biology and psychology. Queueing theory has been regarded as an operations management technique that is commonly used to determine and streamline staffing needs, scheduling, and inventory in order to improve overall customer service.
