Lumbar problems are one of the main ailments affecting the health of workers who perform manual lifting activities. One way to measure the risk associated with these activities is by calculating the lumbar compression force using biomechanical models. However, the accuracy of the field measurement of the input variables may be compromised when taken by inexperienced ergonomics professionals, and their measurement may be difficult in difficult-to-access work settings. This study analyzed the accuracy of LumboRisk AI technology for estimating lumbar compression force in lifting tasks from images using the LumboRisk AI technology developed by Ergoyes. LumboRisk AI is based on the Hand Calculated Back Compressive Force v1.2 (HCBCF v1.2) model to estimate lumbar compressive force and integrates computer vision algorithms to obtain HCBCF v1.2 input variables from images. The findings of this study indicate that the LumboRisk IA technology enables the estimation of the lumbar compression force of lifting tasks with good accuracy.

摘要
