This work aims to establish a participative design methodology with a queer perspective for human representation using AI. The empirical approach centers on the drag performance community in Tijuana, Mexico, specifically focusing on the embodied experience of the drag persona as it negotiates meanings between representation and its mise-en-scène. This exploration serves as a means to challenge traditional representations and broaden the understanding of wellbeing in the fields of Ergonomics and Design. The project is an integral part of an ongoing doctoral research and was carried out during the Tijuana Design Week 2024. The workshop consisted of a group reflection about the queer perspective in Design and Ergonomics; a performance carried out by the local drag performers Astrid Búk Kake and La Alanina; and the collaborative production of images to illustrate a situated image of the drag persona. The production of images was done with the aid of Microsoft Copilot, a language model that helped translate specific categories within the social group into images, which were debated in terms of representational coherence. In this sense, the performance is proposed in theoretical terms as a conscious design action on the individual and social body that allows new performativities beyond the binaries.

摘要
