A Seven-Level Switched Capacitor Boost Inverter with Reduced Switch Count and Voltage Stress
摘要
Multilevel inverters (MLIs) are used widely for high-power applications. The domain of electrical and electronics has seen substantial advancements since the invention of MLIs in 1975. This paper suggests a multilevel inverter, which contains 9 switches and two diodes to create seven levels, so compared to other existing topologies, it uses a minimal number of switches and carrier signals, which in turn makes the system simpler and more cost-effective. The SPWM technique is applied by comparing one sine wave with three triangular waves in this topology. The suggested topology’s operational performance has been simulated using MATLAB software.
