This chapter draws conclusions from the study, on both a national and international scale, sharing implications and recommendations from these findings. This chapter establishes the importance of stakeholders understanding that there is student demand for languages, and commitment to Languages subjects needs to be made by schools and systems, so that students recognise that languages are valued, and there are learning pathways and timetabling structures which make them accessible. Recognising motivations for elective language enrolment, identified in Chap. 5 , will help stakeholders address enrolment issues.
