Mr. Wai-lim YipWai-Lim Yip once said, “The medium and poetics, language and cosmology are inseparably linked.” Based on the characteristics of LaoziLaozi and Zhuangzi’s Daoism and Zhuangzi’s viewpoint of “observing things through things”, it inevitably leads to the denial of language communication. In Zhuangzi’s view, “the ultimate speech is speechless”, as a kind of “holistic beauty” that embodies the highest “Dao”, it is beyond the conveyance of human language.
