Urogenital Sinus Malformations
摘要
Urogenital sinus (UGS) malformations are defined by the confluence of the urethra and vagina to form a common channel of varying length with a single perineal opening. The embryogenesis of UGS malformations was considered as the cessation of Müllerian ducts development at embryo ninth week. The clinical symptoms vary with the size of the urogenital sinus opening and the position of the urethral orifice; thus, the management should be individualized.
