This chapter presents a wideband metasurface-based H-shaped nanoantenna for submillimeter wave applications. The antenna operates in the frequency band of 83.246–102.41 GHz w.r.t 2:1 VSWR. The proposed design comprises of a pair of “H”-shaped radiators tilted at an angle of 40° to increase gain of antenna. Radiators are fed through substrate-integrated waveguides (SIW). Zero-index metamaterial (ZIM) structures are also incorporated with antenna elements to further enhance the gain. Thus, the final structure exhibits gain between 6.5 and 7.601 dBi in the whole frequency band.

摘要
